Project: Mary Jane Baby Booties
This was one of my first projects as a beginner knitter. I thought they were going to be hard, but they are not! I was able to give these as baby gifts to three of my preggo friends. They were all three having baby girls.
This is a free pattern from TLC Home.

The only part of the pattern that got tricky for this beginner was around Row 23 and specifically the left bootie. When it said to rejoin the yarn and cable cast-on 12 stitches I was lost.
I want to post my own video for this specific pattern, showing the rejoin and cable cast-on, but until then here is a helpful video I used to learn cable cast-on.

After Christmas, I will make another pair of these and post a help video for the tricky parts of the pattern. My first niece will be born in May and she definitely needs a pair of these precious booties!
Happy Knitting!
